BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Junior
Faith Coyle finished first in the women's 800-meter run to lead the Oswego State Track & Field teams at the Winter Welcome Back to Brockport Meet.
Full Meet Results
Women's
- Coyle ran a 2:23.62 in the 800-meters to win a field with 32 total competitors.
- Junior Ellie Decker finished in seventh in the women's 3000-meter run with a time of 11:16.20.
- In the sprints, senior Roxanne Barnes led the way in the 100-meter dash with a time of 9.18 seconds.
Men's
- Sophomore Daniel Mars had the top finish for the men with a fifth in the 200-meter dash (23.18 seconds).
- Mars led the way for the Lakers in the 60-meter dash, finishing ninth out of 45 runners.
- Senior Aidan Harrington took 13th in the 60-meters and 15th (of 54) in the 200-meters.
- Harrington also took eighth in the 400-meter dash with teammate Jack Hickey joining him inside the top-10.
- In the field, Adam Cuyler finished in the top half of the field in the shot put with a personal-best toss of 11.55 meters.
- Junior Alexander Kline also set a personal best in the weight throw (11.04m) to finish in the top half of the field.
The Lakers head over to Utica on Saturday for the Utica Blue & Orange Invitational with a 10 a.m. meet start time.
