NEW PALTZ, NY- Oswego Women's Soccer traveled to New Paltz, NY, to face the Hawks. The Lakers couldn't find the back of the net, and Hawks defense shut down the Lakers offense in a 4-0 defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Oswego Lakers and New Paltz Hawks played a tightly contested first 25 minutes until Rachel Eisert was able to beat goalkeeper
Perri Anderson, for the 1-0 lead. Eisert's goal would be the only goal of the half, despite the Hawks holding a 10-1 shot advantage.
As the 2nd half got underway, things didn't go as planned for the Lakers. In the 61st minute, Alexis DeLeo was able to pick up an assisted goal off her right foot. After DeLeo's goal, things escalated for Oswego as New Paltz was able to pick up a 3rd goal in the 70th minute and a 4th goal in the 85 minute. The Hawks were able to pick up eight corners to the Lakers two, as well as 16 shots to the Lakers two.

Oswego Women's Soccer will host Oneonta on Saturday for the 1st round of the SUNYAC Tournament. The time for the match is 1:00 PM
