BINGHAMTON, NY – The SUNY Oswego women's tennis team hit the road for Binghamton, NY for a three-day SUNYAC tournament. The first opponent for the Lakers was Plattsburgh State Thursday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The evening opened with doubles match ups. The team of Salamida and Lyga continued to have success winning by a score of 6-2.
Emily DeLuca and
Leah Bell also improved to 9-1 on the season with their 6-2 win.
In singles matches,
Emily DeLuca secured a dominant win 6-1, 6-1.
Rafaela Dimitrakopoulou won by the same score over her opponent.
Emily Lyga,
Kathryn Salamida and
Avery Borman also were victorious this evening.
This was the 11
th straight win for the Lakers women's tennis team which continues to set a record for most consecutive wins, as well as most wins in a season for the program.
