OSWEGO, N.Y. – Oswego Men's Soccer hit the road to take on a new conference foe in the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs. After a scoreless first half, both teams found the back of the net to finish in a 1-1 tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers appeared to be in control for the majority of the first half. They created 12 shots compared to just 3 for the Mustangs. They took 4 corner kicks and only allowed Morrisville to take 2. Despite their strong offensive efforts, they could not find the back of the net in the first half.
In the second half, SUNY Morrisville was awarded a penalty kick after the Lakers fouled near the goal. Latorre was able get it past
Kyle Rose in the 50
th minute to put the Lakers behind, 1-0. It wasn't until the 78
th minute that the Lakers were finally able to tie the game up when
Ian Husselbeck scored his third goal of the season, assisted by
Kyle Gehnrich. The clock continued to tick and neither team was able to break the tie, finishing this SUNYAC match at 1-1.
