OSWEGO, NY- The Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams hosted their second meet of the season in Laker Hall Saturday afternoon. Clarkson University came to town and the Lakers women were victorious but the men unfortunately fell to the Golden Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Here are some of the highlights from the meet!
The day started with the women's 200 yard medley where the Lakers finished first (Waite, Lotito, Burch, Briggs)1:59.32Â and second (Hon, Jarvie, Baker, Lemus) 2:00.69.
Jayne Laferriere finished first in the women's 200 yard freestyle (2:02.14) and Bella McDonald was right behind her with a time of (2:06.63).
In the 50 yard breaststroke, Aurora Jarvie finished first (33.96) and Emily Lotito finished second (34.59). For the men, Manav Sindhi took first with a time of 28.53.
Katherine Burch (1:05.83) took first and Anna Baker (1:06.97) took second in the women's 100 yard butterfly. Mitchell Stevens finished third (55.87) in the men's 100 yard butterfly.
Oswego took first, second and third in the women's 50 yard freestyle with Jayna Laferriere finishing first (25.86), McKenna Briggs second (26.39) and Alexia Lemus third (26.52).
Serena Bardin finished first in the 1 meter diving (214.10).
In the women's 100 yard freestyle, Jayna Laferriere finished first (55.81), followed by McKenna Briggs (56.92) in second.
Aurora Jarvie won the women's 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:14.13).
Katherine Burch (28.72) finished first and Anna Baker (30.16) took second in the 50 yard butterfly.
The 200 yard freestyle relay saw the Lakers finish first with the team of Laferriere, Briggs, McDonald, and Lemus (1:45.0). The men also took first with a team of Waddell, Medina, Smith, and Murphy (1:31.62).

On November 9th, the Lakers will head to Hobart and William Smith Colleges for a meet starting at 1:00 PM.
