HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers started off the game keeping up with the Smith College Pioneers, with Macey DeOrdio scoring 6 points in the first, and going 100 percent from the floor. This didn't last long though as The Pioneers went on a 22-3 run, helping them to finish the first on top 26-11.
Julie Tanenblatt and Shania Iglesias both got involved in the second, as they were responsible for more than half of the teams total points, but Smith continued to dominate, extending their lead even further, and ending the first half ahead by a score of 45-22
The third and fourth were more of the same, as Smith tacked on another 28 points, to the Lakers 8 in the third, and finished the game with a 89-39 win.Â
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Oswego State Lakers will be back in action tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 PM, where they are set to face Wesleyan College in their second game of the Smith Holiday Tournament at Smith College in Massachusetts.
