HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers started out hot, with Shania Iglesias scoring 5 of the teams first 10 points, including a go ahead three-pointer, but Wesleyan fought back, taking a 23-20 lead going into the second.Â
Both teams were neck and neck for the entirety of the second, as Sydney Hoefs was perfect from three, scoring 13 points in the first 13 minutes of the game, and helping the Lakers stay in the game. Despite her efforts, Wesleyan walked into halftime ahead 36-35
Both teams kept it close in the third, as Macey DeOrdio kept her team in it, and the quarter ended tied at Oswego 51 and Wesleyan 51.
Shania Iglesias stepped up in the fourth, finishing the game with a double double of 24 points and 10 rebounds, and helping the Lakers walk away with a 76-65 win over the Panthers.

The Lakers will head back to Oswego to face the Middlebury College Panthers at 1:00PM on Saturday January 4th.
