CANTON, NY - The Lakers traveled up north to take on SUNY Canton in their 2nd conference bout of the season. The Lakers ultimately won by a score of 74-60.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Oswego's
Macey DeOrdio led the way with 23 points, 4 assists, and 5 rebounds.
The Lakers remained neck and neck with the Roo's for the 1st quarter as they traded baskets back and forth, resulting in the Roo's taking a narrow 1-point lead. The 2nd quarter was much different than the 1st, as the Lakers were able to mount quick baskets in transition and get defensive stops, resulting in outscoring the Roo's by 14 points in the 2nd quarter alone.
To start the 2nd half, DeOrdio came out firing, as she scored 9 of the first 11 Laker points. The Roo's were able to keep the 3rd quarter closer than the 2nd, as they were only outscored by 3. The Lakers were able to hold their lead throughout the 4th quarter as they coasted to a 14-point victory on the road.

Oswego will travel to Northampton, MA, to take on Smith College in the first round of the
Smith Holiday Tournament on December 30th at 1:00 PM.
