GENESEO, N.Y. – Oswego State Women's Basketball (12-9, 8-7 SUNYAC) was back on the road Friday night to take on the Geneseo Knights (16-7, 11-5 SUNYAC). The Knights took down the Lakers in regulation.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers offense kept up with the Knights in the first quarter and even had a small lead going into the second when Macey DeOrdio hit a layup as time expired. The Knights began to build a lead in the second quarter when the Lakers committed seven turnovers while shooting 28% from the field. Oswego did not score for the final 4 minutes of the second quarter and trailed the Knights by six at the half.
In the third, the Lakers cut the lead to three after a layup from Elaina Johnson, but the knights quickly built a lead back up to as many as twelve before the end of the third. Cold shooting continued to plague the Lakers with them shooting 255 from the field in the third quarter and meager 145 from the field in the fourth. In the final quarter, the Lakers offense posted a game low five points as they fell to the Knights on the road. The Lakers did not shoot a free throw all night.
