In an inning where the Lakers only committed one error, the Garnet took a 9-7 lead heading into the seventh.

The Lakers did not go quietly in the seventh when Trey McGowan singled to right field scoring VanDreason and Parliament. Barone also scored in the inning on an error. Oswego added to their small lead in the eighth when Tishawn Featherstone singled sending home Daniel Winchester to make the lead 11-9.

The Garnet smashed a three-run homerun in the bottom of the eighth to take a one run lead over the Lakers and never looked back, winning game one, 12-11.

Game 2:

On the bump to start the second game for the Lakers was Alek Conrad. He threw two scoreless innings to start, allowing the Lakers to grab a one run lead in the second off a single from Greg Carullo that scored Joe McLaughlin.
