CLINTON, NY. - The Oswego State Baseball team traveled to Clinton, NY to take on Hamilton College. The Lakers won by a score of 19-10.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It did not take long for the Lakers to take a lead this afternoon when Jacob Levine was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, sending home CJ McCarthy.Â
The senior Nick Cody was on the mound to start for the Lakers and threw 4.1 innings allowing 5 hits and 3 runs while striking out 5.Â
In the top of the second, CJ McCarthy singled and sent home Blake VanDreason. A double from Jelani Hamer then scored CJ McCarthy and that was followed by a double to left from Owen Parliament that gave Oswego a 5-0 lead after just two innings.Â
Trey McGowan sent home another run in the fourth for Oswego on a single through the left side.Â
In the fifth, Oswego built on their lead scoring 8 runs on 3 hits while Hamilton committed an error. There were 9 total walks in the fifth with three of those coming on a hit by pitch for Oswego.Â
In the 6th, After Dylan Rosenberg hit a bases clearing triple, he scored on a wild pitch to make it 18-3 in favor of the Lakers.Â
To cap the day off, Oswego added another run in the 8th on an RBI single from Emil Sander.
On the mound, Grant Biederman relieved Nick Cody, throwing 2.2 innings allowing only 1 hit and striking out 2. Aiden Kerr came in for a scoreless inning followed by Tanner Ennen and Dominick Galeotafiore in the 9th.Â

The baseball team will travel to Oneonta this weekend to take on the Red Dragons on Friday, March 29th, at 3:00 PM.
