CLINTON, NY- Oswego Women's Soccer traveled to Hamilton, NY to face NESCAC's Hamilton College. The Lakers couldn't muster much offense as Hamilton's defense shut down the Lakers attack in a 3-0 defeat.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers Goalkeeper Perri Anderson was tested early and often in a bout against the Colonels. Anderson faced a barrage of shots all game that resulted in her coming up with eight saves. The Colonels got on the board at 13:35 in the first half off the right foot of Haley Cramer. Only 13 minutes later, Maddie Ledbury was able to beat Anderson for the Colonels 2nd goal of the day Off a pass from Olivia Zubarik. The Lakers would go into halftime break with a 2-0 deficit after not being able to cash in on numerous opportunities. 

Following the intermission, Hamilton picked up right where they left off, pouring on shots and blitzing the Lakers defense. The Colonels 3rd and final goal of the match came at 87:38 as Haley Cramer capped off a two-goal day with an assist from Hanna Lauren.

Oswego Women's Soccer will travel up north on Saturday, September 14th to take on St. Lawrence. The Lakers will kick off at 3:00 PM in Canton, New York.
