CANTON, NY- Oswego Women's Soccer traveled to Canton, NY to face the St. Lawrence saints. The Lakers were defeated by a score of 4-0 in a one-sided affair.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers were flat lined in a trip up north against a gritty St. Lawrence team. The Saints applied all types of offensive pressure from the start of the game and the Lakers were unable to keep up. At 15:55 Grace Mochnal gave the Saints the lead. Only 5 minutes later, Mia Cence put the Saints up 2-0. The Saints were able to get a 3 goal lead going into halftime after a screamer from Lily Stone at 25:38.Â
Coming out of the halftime break, Madison King-Thurber scored off a series of passes at 48:45. The Saints out shot the Lakers 16 to 9. The Lakers were only able to get 2 of those shots on goal in what was a slow offensive outing.
Perri Anderson finished the game with 4 saves.Â
WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego Women's Soccer will host Keuka on Tuesday, September 17th. The Lakers will kick off at 4:00 PM in Laker Turf Stadium.
