OSWEGO, NY – The SUNY Oswego women's tennis team held their home opener this afternoon when they hosted the Farmingdale State College Rams. The Lakers were looking to remain undefeated after a successful first weekend where they defeated Alfred University and Houghton University. Oswego took down the Rams on the newly renovated courts by a score of 5-2.

The doubles team of
Avery Borman and
Isabella Eason fell to the Rams in a close match 6-3. The doubles teams of
Kathryn Salamida/
Emily Lyga and
Leah Bell/
Emily DeLuca both won their doubles matches giving the Lakers a boost heading into singles matches.
Emily Lyga fell in a tie breaker to start off the singles matches.
Kathryn Salamida won her singles match in a tie breaker, giving the Lakers a bit more momentum. After

Emily DeLuca,
Avery Borman, and
Isabella Eason all secured big victories. The Lakers took down the Rams by a score of 5-2 keeping their undefeated streak alive.
With the first three matches completed, the doubles teams of

Emily Lyga both remain undefeated. In singles,
Avery Borman,
Kathryn Salamida, and
