OSWEGO, NY – The SUNY Oswego women's tennis team hosted Nazareth University on Wednesday afternoon. Due to weather, the match was moved indoors to Romney Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
This was the closest match of the season for the Lakers this afternoon in Romney. The doubles match's started things off and only the team of
Kathryn Salamida and
Emily Lyga were able to secure a win, placing the Lakers behind heading into singles.
Emily Lyga battled into three sets but ultimately fell.
Kathryn Salamida took down her opponent 6-3, 6-4. To help maintain the Lakers undefeated season,
Leah Bell,
Emily DeLuca and
Avery Borman all took down Nazareth after
Rafaela Dimitrakopoulou suffered a loss.
This win improves Oswego's record to an impressive 10-0 overall record and 2-0 in the SUNYAC.

Next weekend women's tennis will head to Binghamton NY for a three-day weekend of SUNYAC play against Plattsburgh, New Paltz, and Oneonta.
