POTSDAM, NY. - The Lakers traveled to SUNY Potsdam this evening to take on the Bears, and came out with a 58-50 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Â
After losing the tip,
Giavanna White-Principio was the first to score for the Lakers, giving them an early 2-0 lead.
Sydney Hoefs would quickly extend the lead for the Lakers with a layup past two defenders. The Bears fought back though, and went into the second quarter down 13-8.

Sydney Hoefs started the second quarter with another bucket, but the Bears would then go on a 8-0 run, taking a 16-15 lead with five left to play in the first half.
Macey DeOrdio would get the lead back with a layup, but the Bears responded immediately with a three-pointer of their own to give Potsdam a 19-18 lead. This back and forth continued into halftime, as the Lakers headed to the locker room ahead 23-22.

The Lakers came out replenished, and went on a nice run, as
Macey DeOrdio finished the third quarter with nine points, propelling the Lakers to a 44-32 lead going into the final ten minutes of play.

The Bears chipped away at Oswego's lead, but the Lakers held onto their lead in the fourth quarter, topping the Bears by a score of 58-50
