OSWEGO, NY. - The Lakers returned home and hosted the Buffalo State Bengals on Friday night to kick off their home SUNYAC double header.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers opened the game on a 5-0 run thanks to buckets from
Deacon Judd and
Cole Kattan. Despite the Bengals push back, the first half lead for Oswego grew as large as 18 points following a layup from
Arthur Foster. Late in the first half, the Lakers defense began to slip, and the Bengals clawed their way to a ten-point deficit at the break.
In the second half, the Bengals had almost no answers for Oswego.
Ahkee Anderson helped build the lead up to over twenty points followed by
Billy Reyes and
Steven Bradley knocking down a couple threes. With the Bengals on the ropes, the Lakers kept the pressure on forcing turnovers earning them a total of 24 points off turnovers on the night. Ten different players recorded baskets for the Lakers in this big conference win.
