OSWEGO, NY. - The Lakers hosted their second SUNYAC contest of the weekend Saturday afternoon, this time against the Fredonia Blue Devils. The Lakers for the second time this weekend came out with the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After the opening tip, the Lakers opened the scoring with a layup from
Deacon Judd which was a familiar site for Oswego. Despite the best efforts of Oswego, the Blue Devils hung around for most of the first half. Towards the end of the half, Bradley Stevens poured in a few baskets followed by a three from
Cole Kattan to bolster the Lakers lead to 15 points. The Blue Devils scored once more late making the score 38-26 in favor of Oswego at the halfway point.
In the second half, Oswego came alive from three. After shooting a meager 25% from behind the arc in the first half, they improved to nearly 40% in the second half on the backs of
Billy Reyes and
Cole Kattan. Freshman
Deacon Judd recorded his first college double-double scoring 20 points and securing 13 rebounds. He also added two assists. Four different Lakers scored in double figures helping Oswego earn their 7
th SUNYAC win of the season over the Blue Devils.
