Oswego, N.Y. – SUNY Oswego sophomore
Avery Borman has been named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Tennis First Team after an impressive 2025 season competing at the top singles position for the Lakers.
Borman, a native of Cornwall, N.Y., earned the honor following a standout campaign in which she posted a 6-4 overall record while facing the best players in the conference at first singles. Her consistent play helped anchor Oswego's lineup throughout the fall season.
Competing in just her second year with the Lakers, Borman has quickly established herself as one of the top players in the SUNYAC. Her combination of competitiveness and composure on the court has been instrumental in the team's development.
This marks Borman's first career all-conference selection and continues a growing tradition of success for the Oswego women's tennis program.
