OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw against visiting SUNY Morrisville on Saturday afternoon at Laker Turf Stadium. The Lakers also honored their graduating seniors before the game. The Lakers moved to 2-4-4 overall and 1-1-1 in SUNYAC play with the result.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers struck early when
Ethan Caruana found the back of the net in the 4th minute off a perfectly timed pass from
Cerixey Lindsay, giving Oswego a quick 1-0 lead. Morrisville answered just six minutes later to even the match at 1-1, and the score held through halftime despite several Oswego scoring chances.
The Mustangs pulled ahead in the 65th minute, but the Lakers refused to go quietly.
Derek Rivera scored the equalizer in the 80th minute off a setup from
Edis Omerovic, bringing the game back level at 2-2.
Oswego dominated much of the offensive play, outshooting Morrisville 20-11 and holding a 10-2 edge in corner kicks. Goalkeepers
Andre Bourjolly and
Kyle Rose combined for six saves, while the Lakers' backline weathered several late pushes from the Mustangs to preserve the draw.
