Clarkson, NY. - The Oswego State Swimming and Diving Team traveled to the North Country to take on the Clarkson Golden Knights, and picked up a win on the women's side, but came up short on the men's side.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In the 200 meter medley relay, the women's team excelled, with their "A" and "B" relays taking first and second place respectively.
On the men's side, Clarkson took first, with the Lakers "A", "B", and "C" relays finishing in second, third, and fifth.
Next up, in the 800 meter freestyle, Izzy Dague took second place, with Emily Seldin and Anna Baker finishing fourth and fifth for the women's team.
For the Men, Clarkson continued to dominate, as Jake Sarnowski finished third in the 800 meter freestyle, with Ryan Liedka and Mike Neckers taking fifth and sixth for the Lakers.
Bella McDonald and Emily Seldin took first and second in the 200 meter freestyle, extending the Lakers lead.
Antonio Medina and Ryan Murphy finished fourth and fifth in the 200, as Clarkson built up their lead.
Rita Romano took first place in the 50 yard backstroke for Oswego, with Maura Waite and Sophia Panetta taking fourth and fifth.
Ethan Calhoun and Jayden Hernandez finished in second and third place in the 50 backstroke, with Tommy Purga picking up a point in fifth place.
Then, in the 50 meter breaststroke, Aurora Jarvie and Emily Lotito took first and second, with Kaitlin Wheeler finishing in fourth.
The Men's side followed suit in this event, with Manav Sindhi touching out Nathan Ratta Vine, earning the Lakers first and second as well.
Joscelyn Coniski and Gabby Janeski took first and second place in the 100 meter butterfly, with Abby Hinman picking up one point in fifth.
On the men's side, Mitchell Stevens and Nick Celentano took third and fourth for the Lakers, as Clarkson's lead continued to grow.
Then, Katherine Burch took first in the 50 meter freestyle, with Willow Gaines tying for second place.
Duncan Smith took second in the 50 freestyle for the men's team, with Nick Derick and Owen Baker taking fourth and fifth.
In Women's 1 meter diving, Maddy Van Beamer finished third, with Amber Burke taking fourth.
In Men's 1 meter diving, Fin Doloway finished in third.
Joscelyn Coniski and Willow Gaines took second and third in the 100 meter freestyle for the Lakers, helping build up Oswego's lead even more.
Duncan Smith and Antonio Medina took third and fourth respectively in the 100 meter freestyle.
Izzy Dague and Rita Romano took first and second in the 100 meter backstroke, with Maura Waite finishing in fifth.
For the Men's team, Ethan Calhoun and Jayden Hernandez took second and third place in the 100 back respectively.
The Women's team took first, second, and third in the 100 meter breaststroke, with Aurora Jarvie, Emily Lotito, and Gabby Janeski all finishing within a second of each other.
On the men's side, Nathan Ratta Vine took second, with Manav Sindhi finishing fourth, and Peter Jennings in fifth.
In the 400 meter freestyle, Emily Seldin took second, with Bella McDonald and Anna Baker taking third and fourth.
For the men's side, Jake Sarnowski finished fourth, with Ryan Murphy taking fifth, picking up just 3 points for the Lakers.
Joscelyn Coniski took first in the women's 50 yard butterfly, with Katherine Burch in second, and Abby Hinman finishing fourth.

In the women's 100 meter IM, Aurora Jarvie picked up her third first place finish of the day, with Izzy Dague and Anna Baker taking third and fourth place.

Finally, in the 200 meter freestyle relay, the women's team finished in first and third, while the men's team took second, third, and fifth place.
