Clinton, N.Y. – The Oswego Women's basketball team played their final game in the Hamilton Tip-Off Classic against the hosting Hamilton Continentals. The Lakers' offense struggled to find momentum throughout the afternoon, resulting in a 79–62 loss to the Continentals.

How it Happened
The Lakers were unable to find consistency from beyond the arc, shooting just 4-for-19 from three-point range.
Senior Forward Giavanna White-Principio had another dominant performance in the paint recording 21 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers giving her a 3rd straight double-double to start the season
Junior Guard Sarah Hirschler added another 17 points for Oswego with 6 made field goals in the contest.
From the opening tip, Hamilton's offense established early rhythm, building a 12-point lead at halftime. Oswego responded with tougher defensive sets in the third quarter and showed improved offense in the fourth, but the early deficit proved too difficult to erase. The Continentals balanced scoring and pace ultimately carried them to the 79–62 victory, handing Oswego its second loss of the season and moving the Lakers to 1–2 overall.

The Lakers travel to Amherst, Mass., on Tuesday to take on the Mammoths, looking to bounce back and even their record as non-conference play continues.
