Oswego N.Y. — SUNY Oswego has announced women's volleyball standout Priscilla McReynolds and men's soccer forward Tajay Ellis as the Student-Athletes of the Month for October, recognizing their outstanding performances throughout the month.

McReynolds, a key contributor for the Lakers' women's volleyball program, reached two major career milestones in October, surpassing 500 kills and 500 digs. The versatile outside hitter has been a consistent two-way force this season, leading the team in kills and service aces, while ranking second in digs. Her all-around play and steady leadership have helped guide the Lakers through a competitive conference stretch. The Lakers now wait to face the winner of Morrisville and New Paltz in the second round of the SUNYAC Tournament on Friday November 14^th in Cortland, NY.

On the pitch, Ellis emerged as the offensive catalyst for the men's soccer team, finishing the month as the Lakers' leading goal scorer with four goals, including one game-winning tally. His scoring touch and dynamic presence in the attacking third played a crucial role in Oswego's success during October, providing energy and reliability in key moments.
