Oswego N.Y. — SUNY Oswego has announced women's volleyball standout
Priscilla McReynolds and men's soccer forward
Tajay Ellis as the
Student-Athletes of the Month for October, recognizing their outstanding performances throughout the month.
McReynolds, a key contributor for the Lakers' women's volleyball program, reached two major career milestones in October, surpassing
500 kills and
500 digs. The versatile outside hitter has been a consistent two-way force this season, leading the team in
kills and
service aces, while ranking
second in digs. Her all-around play and steady leadership have helped guide the Lakers through a competitive conference stretch. The Lakers now wait to face the winner of Morrisville and New Paltz in the second round of the SUNYAC Tournament on Friday November 14
th in Cortland, NY.
On the pitch, Ellis emerged as the offensive catalyst for the men's soccer team, finishing the month as the Lakers'
leading goal scorer with four goals, including
one game-winning tally. His scoring touch and dynamic presence in the attacking third played a crucial role in Oswego's success during October, providing energy and reliability in key moments.
