OSWEGO, N.Y. – SUNY Oswego's men's and women's soccer teams were both recognized by United Soccer Coaches with the College Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year.

The award, announced Friday, honors college soccer programs that achieve a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher during the academic year.

A total of 777 teams nationwide earned the distinction, including 326 men's programs and 451 women's programs.

Oswego was among just 175 schools across the country to have both its men's and women's soccer programs recognized for their academic performance.

The honor recognizes the Lakers' continued commitment to academic excellence throughout the 2025-26 academic year.
