OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Oswego women's lacrosse team earned recognition from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for its success in the classroom during the 2026 season, with the program receiving Division III Academic Honor Squad status while five Lakers were named to the Division III Academic Honor Roll.
Oswego secured Academic Honor Squad recognition after posting a team grade point average above the IWLCA's required 3.20 threshold. The Lakers paired their academic success with a strong season on the field, finishing the year with a 13-5 overall record.
Individually, five student-athletes were recognized on the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. To earn the distinction, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
