OSWEGO, N.Y. – A challenging non-conference slate, a full SUNYAC schedule, and 13 regular-season games inside Max Ziel Gymnasium highlight the 2026-27 SUNY Oswego women's basketball schedule.

The Lakers will begin preparations for the season with exhibition contests at Onondaga Community College on Oct. 24 and at home against Utica on Oct. 28 before officially opening the regular season on Nov. 7 at Hilbert.

The opening month will quickly test Oswego against a diverse group of regional opponents. Following the season opener, the Lakers travel to the University of Rochester before returning home to host SUNY Poly and Keystone. Road matchups at Nazareth, St. John Fisher, and Houghton round out a demanding November schedule that features seven games in just three weeks.

Conference play tips off on Dec. 5 when Morrisville visits Oswego for the Lakers' SUNYAC opener. Oswego then heads west for road contests against Fredonia and Buffalo State.

The new year begins with a home contest against Sage on Jan. 2 before the Lakers resume conference action. After a road trip to Cobleskill, Oswego returns home for one of its longest homestands of the season, welcoming Alfred State, Cortland, Canton, Potsdam, Buffalo State, and Fredonia to Max Ziel Gymnasium over a three-week stretch. The six-game home stand will play a pivotal role in the conference race, as the Lakers look to build momentum entering the final month of the regular season.

February opens with back-to-back road games against Cortland and Alfred State before Oswego travels to Delhi, Oneonta, and Morrisville. The regular season concludes on Feb. 20 when Plattsburgh visits Oswego in what could have significant implications for SUNYAC Tournament seeding.

The postseason begins Feb. 23 with the SUNYAC Quarterfinals, followed by the conference semifinals on Feb. 26 and the championship game on Feb. 27.
