How it Happened
Oswego controlled the tempo from the opening tip and never trailed, forcing Franklin into difficult shots and turnovers throughout the game. The Lakers built a small but steady cushion in the first half and carried a 32–28 lead into intermission after holding the Grizzlies to just 34.6 percent shooting.
Deacon Judd set the tone inside, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds as Oswego repeatedly won the battle in the paint. Freddy Fowler added 12 points and provided a spark in transition, while Steven Bradley logged all 40 minutes and chipped in 11 points and seven rebounds.
Franklin made several pushes in the second half, trimming the deficit to four with under two minutes remaining, but Oswego answered each time. A Jayden Watkins three-pointer with 55 seconds left gave the Lakers breathing room, and Oswego closed the game at the free-throw line to secure the victory.
The Lakers finished with a 47–37 edge on the glass and forced 20 Franklin turnovers, holding the Grizzlies to 28.1 percent shooting from the field and 20.7 percent from beyond the arc.
