New Paltz, NY – The Oswego State men's basketball team delivered one of its most complete performances of the season Tuesday night, pulling away in the second half to earn an 87–58 SUNYAC victory over New Paltz at the Hawk Center.

How It Happened
After building a 43–34 halftime lead, Oswego slammed the door coming out of the locker room, outscoring New Paltz 44–24 over the final 20 minutes. The Lakers forced turnovers, dominated the glass, and consistently converted in transition to stretch the margin to as many as 29 points.
Arthur Foster led the charge with 19 points, burying four three-pointers while setting the tone defensively with three steals.
Freddy Fowler added 16 points and four assists, pushing the pace and capitalizing on New Paltz mistakes.
Chris Whyte-Luciano provided a spark off the bench with 11 points, while
Gary McLane finished with 10 points and four assists.
Deacon Judd anchored the interior, grabbing 10 rebounds to go along with nine points as Oswego finished with a 40–29 rebounding edge. The Lakers also forced 21 turnovers and turned those miscues into 21 points, a defining factor in the runaway result.
The Hawks were held scoreless from three-point range in the second half, as Oswego's defensive pressure limited clean looks and disrupted rhythm.Oswego's depth was on full display, finishing with 25 bench points and consistent production across the lineup. The Lakers shot 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and controlled the tempo throughout the second half, steadily widening the gap.
