HOW IT HAPPENED
The Oswego Lakers wasted no time lighting up the scoreboard in a matchup with the SUNY Canton Roos. A balanced attack and effective ball movement resulted in quick baskets, many of which were in transition (18 points). Due to the balanced offensive approach, the Lakers were able to have four players scoring in double figures (Judd, Allen, Foster, and Reyes).
The Lakers received large contributions from the bench, as 52 of the 88 points came from non-starters. The offensive onslaught early in the game resulted in an insurmountable lead that the Roos couldn't recover from. The Roos had a difficult time taking care of the ball as they committed 18 turnovers in the game. Senior
Billy Reyes led Oswego in scoring as he poured in a game-high 17 points, including 5 three-pointers.
