POTSDAM, NY. - The SUNY Oswego Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled to Potsdam to take on the Bears.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Men's Meet:
The Lakers kicked off the meet finishing first, second, and fourth place in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
They're lead continued to grow, as Potsdam entered no swimmers into the 1650 yard freestyle. Because of this, Nathan Ratta Vine, Lucas McGarry, and Jason Ruiz finished first, second, and third respectively.
The 200 yard freestyle was much of the same, as again Potsdam entered with no swimmers.
Sam Waddell took first, with Jake Sarnowski and Duncan Smith finishing second and third.
Mitchell Stevens finished first in the 100 yard backstroke, with Mike Neckers finishing third.
In the 100 yard breaststroke, Manav Sindhi, Will Sterling, and Ryan Gublo finished second through fourth, as Potsdam took first.
Jayden Hernandez won the 200 yard butterfly, with Ryan Liedka finishing in third.
Antonio Medina and Jackson Vignona took first and second in the 50 yard freestyle.
Daniel Hodge took first in 1-meter diving, with Anthony Serrano finishing second.
In the 100 yard freestyle, Antonio Medina, Jackson Vignona, and Jason Ruiz finished second through fourth.
In the 200 yard backstroke, Mitchell Stevens and Mike Neckers took first and second place.
Will Sterling, Ryan Gublo, and Ryan Liedka finished first, second and third in the 200 yard breaststroke.
Jayden Hernandez and Duncan Smith swam unopposed in the 500 yard freestyle, and Hernandez finished first.
Jake Sarnowski won the 100 yard butterfly, with Antonio Medina and Sam Waddell finishing third and fourth.
Manav Sindhi and Mitchell Stevens took second and third in the 200 yard IM, with Ryan Liedka taking fifth.
The Lakers swept the 200 yard freestyle relay, taking first, second and third, and earning the victory over the Bears.
Women's Meet:
The Lakers finished first and third in the 200 yard medley relay.
Anna Baker and Kaitlin Wheeler swam the 1650 yard freestyle unopposed, taking first and second respectively.
Bella McDonald, Izzy Dague, and Emily Lotito completed a clean sweep in the 200 yard freestyle, taking first, second and third. Katherine Burch, Aurora Jarvie, and Alexia Lemus did the same in the 50 yard freestyle.
Emily Seldin and Maura Waite took first and second in the 100 yard backstroke, and McKenna Briggs and Jayna LaFerriere did the same exact thing in the 100 yard breaststroke.
Fion Hon came second in the 200 yard butterfly.
Serena Bardin and Amber Burke took first and second in 1-meter diving, and Bardin took first in 3-meter diving.
Jayna LaFerriere, McKenna Briggs, and Bella McDonald came first, second, and third in the 100 yard freestyle.
Emily Seldin, Fion Hon, and Maura Waite took first, second, and fourth respectively in the 200 yard backstroke.
Emily Lotito won the 200 yard breaststroke, with Kaitlin Wheeler finishing third.
Izzy Dague took first in the 500 yard freestyle.
Katherine Burch finished second in the 100 yard butterfly.
Bella McDonald, Anna Baker, and Aurora Jarvie took first, second, and fourth in the 200 yard IM, and the Lakers took first and second in the 200 yard freestyle relay, completing a dominant win over the bears.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Oswego State Lakers will travel to the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Complex in Buffalo for their SUNYAC Championships on February 19th through February 22nd.
