OSWEGO, N.Y. - The SUNY Morrisville Mustangs visited Oswego, New York, to take on the Lakers in their final SUNYAC matchup. The Lakers were able to escape with the victory after holding a large 37-10 lead at halftime.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers jumped out to a blistering start as they outscored the Mustangs by a score of 14-6 in the first quarter. The lead would continue to climb in the 2nd quarter as the Lakers ran into halftime with a lopsided 23-4 2nd quarter. Throughout much of the 1st half, the Lakers were able to convert on the Mustang's miscues, as they scored 17 points off turnovers.
Coming out of the halftime break, the Lakers lost the momentum that they were carrying in the 1st half. They were outscored by 10 in the 3rd quarter thanks to major contributions from Anyssia Ingersoll (22 pts). The Laker's offense slowed down, but they were able to make the necessary baskets when needed to maintain their lead.
Shania Iglesias scored a team-high 20 points. A double-double outing from
Sydney Hoefs and Giavanna White-Principo helped the Lakers take down the Mustangs in a gritty conference win.
