FREDONIA, NY. - The Lakers traveled to SUNY Fredonia this evening to take on the Blue Devils, and came out with a win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Shania Iglesias scored eight points, and Giavanna White-Principio added six in the first quarter, and helped the Lakers take a 20-16 lead through ten minutes of play.
In the second quarter, the Lakers kept their lead, as White-Principio added six more. White-Principio also finished the half with seven rebounds, and Macey DeOrdio had six of her own. The Lakers headed into the halftime break ahead 34-30.
The Blue Devils came back in the third quarter, cutting down the Lakers' lead, and heading into the fourth quarter ahead 49-48.
White-Principio and Iglesias continued to dominate the game, finishing with 24 points and 14 rebounds and 18 points respectively. Macey DeOrdio tacked on a 10 point, 15 rebound double double, and the Lakers walked out of Fredonia with a 73-65 conference win.

The Lakers will stay in Western New York, and travel to Buffalo State to take on the Bengals tomorrow, February 8th, at 2:00PM
