BUFFALO, NY. - The Lakers traveled to Buffalo State this evening to take on the Bengals, and came out with a _-_ win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Macey DeOrdio,
Shania Iglesias, and
Julie Tanenblatt each netted a three pointer in the first, but Buffalo State fought back and finished the quarter ahead 14-13.
In the second, the Lakers played much more defensively sound, allowing the Bengals to score just 8 points in the quarter.
Macey DeOrdio increased her point total to 10 before the half was over, and the Lakers went into the halftime break ahead 27-22.
Oswego's defensive prowess continued into the second half, giving Buffalo no room to breathe, and holding them to 6 points in the third quarter. The Lakers on the other hand scored 17, and went into the final period of play with a generous 44-28 lead.
In the fourth quarter, the Lakers held strong, outscoring Buffalo 18-9 finishing with a 62-37 SUNYAC conference win, and bolstering their record to 13-8 (10-4 SUNYAC) as the near the end of regular season play.

The Lakers will come back to Oswego and play next Friday, February 14th at 5:30PM against Plattsburgh in the Max Ziel Gymnasium.
