BUFFALO, NY. - The Lakers traveled to Buffalo State this evening to take on the Bengals and came out with a 71-62 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Buffalo State started out with an 8-2 run, with
Ahkee Anderson scoring the only basket within the first 3 minutes for the Lakers. The Bengals extended their lead in the next five minutes, but
Cole Kattan put up 3 three-pointers, tying it up with just under 10 to play in the first half.
The Lakers stayed neck-and-neck with the Bengals for the rest of the first half and went into the half ahead 29-27.
Xavier Allen started out the second half strong for the Lakers going 2-for-2 from the free throw line.
Deacon Judd and
Gary McLane each scored their first points of the game to kick off an 13-1 run for the Lakers, in which Judd scored 10 points, and extended their lead to 44-33 with 12 minutes to play in the second half.
Allen's dominance continued until the end of the game, as he finished with 21 points, 6 boards, and 3 assists, leading the Lakers to a comfortable 71-62 conference win on the road.

The Lakers will come back to Oswego and play next Friday, February 14th against the Plattsburgh State Cardinals.
