POTSDAM, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's lacrosse team fought hard but ultimately fell short against Clarkson, dropping a 15-6 decision on the road. Despite a fast start and a late push in the fourth quarter, the Lakers were unable to overcome Clarkson's offensive surge.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Oswego came out firing, with
Corey O'Connor striking first to give the Lakers an early lead.
Garrett Elston followed up shortly after with another goal, putting Oswego ahead 2-0. The Lakers controlled possessions early, winning key faceoffs and generating strong scoring opportunities.
However, Clarkson responded with a six-goal run to close out the first quarter, taking a 6-2 lead. Oswego's defense worked hard to slow down the Golden Knights' attack, with goalkeeper
Seamus Hand making several key saves in the first half.
Clarkson extended its lead through the second and third quarters, but Oswego refused to back down. In the fourth quarter, the Lakers found an offensive spark, with O'Connor netting two more goals to complete his
hat trick.
Emmett Starowizc and
Trey Jones also got on the board, helping Oswego close the gap late in the game.
Despite a strong final push, the Lakers couldn't complete the comeback as Clarkson held on for the win.
