HOW IT HAPPENED
Oswego set the tone early by sweeping all three doubles matches. The #1 team of Matt Mannara and Anthyony Marcano overpowered Alfred's Ricardo Janik and Breece Erickson with an 8-3 win. At the #2 spot,
Austin Davis and Zach Demott rolled past Matt Bittel and Bill Tran 8-1. The most lopsided result came at #3 doubles, where
Tyler Yhun and
Colin Byer blanked their opponents, Mark Ungurian and George Fearon, 8-0.
The Lakers carried that momentum into singles, winning all six matches in straight sets. Marcano continued his strong form at #1 singles, defeating Janik 6-1, 6-3. Mannara backed him up at #2 with a clean 6-2, 6-1 win over Erickson. The middle of the lineup was just as solid—

Colin Byer breezed past Ungurian 6-2, 6-0, while Juan Miguel Garcia wrapped things up with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout at #6 singles, putting an exclamation point on Oswego's perfect day.
