OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Men's Tennis team returned home to take on the St John Fisher University Cardinals in another Empire 8 matchup Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Doubles
Oswego set the tone early in doubles play, sweeping all three matchups:

• At #1 Doubles, Matthew Mannara and Anthony Marcano teamed up for a decisive 8-4 win.
• Austin Davis and Zach Demott followed suit at #2 Doubles with another 8-4 victory.
• The #3 pairing of Tyler Yhun and Colin Byer sealed the doubles sweep with a 6-3 win.

Singles
The Lakers carried their momentum into singles, winning all six matches in dominant fashion:

• At #1 Singles, Mannara cruised past his opponent 6-1, 6-0.
• Davis fought through a three-set battle at #2 Singles, taking the match 6-3, 2-6, 10-6.
• Demott delivered a smooth 6-2, 6-3 win at #3 Singles.
• Byer came through in a clutch three-setter, edging out a 6-7, 6-2, 10-9 win at #4 Singles.
• Garcia and Yhun closed out the day with back-to-back shutouts, each winning 6-1, 6-0 at #5 and #6 Singles, respectively.
