OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego State men's tennis team wrapped up the regular season on Saturday afternoon with a conference match-up against the Houghton Highlanders.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers set the tone early in doubles action, sweeping all three courts.
Anthony Marcano and
Matthew Mannara handled business at first doubles with an 8–5 win, while
Tyler Yhun and
Colin Byer gutted out a competitive 8–6 win at the second spot. At third doubles, Jose Miguel Garcia and
Austin Davis came through in a thrilling 8–7 (7–4) tiebreaker to complete the doubles sweep and give Oswego a commanding 3–0 lead heading into singles play.
In singles, Oswego kept the momentum rolling at the top of the lineup. Marcano continued his dominant season with a 6–0, 6–3 win at No. 1 singles, and Mannara followed closely behind with a clinical 6–0, 6–2 victory at No. 2. Garcia also delivered a strong performance at No. 5 singles, taking down his opponent 6–0, 6–1 to secure Oswego's sixth team point.
