A rip single from Daniel Winchester got the Lakers started as it pushed Trey McGowan home. Dylan Rosenberg would continue the rally with a base knock that would score another. The Lakers Matt Carner would continue as they ripped a double to deep center field to improve the scoreline to 3-8. A Sac fly from Anthony Barone and RBI from Pat May would make the deficit 3 as the Lakers scored five in the bottom of the third to tighten the game and atmosphere as they entered the fourth with the Red Dragons up 8-5.

The Lakers would outdo their earlier five-run rally with an eight-run inning in the bottom of the seventh.
