OSWEGO, NY - The SUNY Oswego Lakers hosted their annual Ozcars Awards Ceremony on Monday April 28th in the Deborah F Stanley Arena.
This year has brought about an unprecedented amount of success and memorable moments. A SUNYAC Championship on home-ice for the first in over a decade, several record breaking seasons, dozens of athletes receiving all-conference recognition, regional recognition, NCAA All-American status, and many more achievements. Not only did the Lakers achieve new heights on the playing field, they also excelled in the classroom and were a prominent presence in the Oswego community. Our athletics department last fall semester averaged a 3.17 gpa with several athletes making the Dean's List or President's List! Furthermore, our athletics department received national recognition for our community service, setting the standards for all NCAA DIII institutions in this category.
