OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego women's tennis team turned in a dominant performance on Saturday, defeating Oneonta 6–1 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Lakers set the tone early in doubles, sweeping all three courts to grab the first point. 
Emily DeLuca and 
Leah Bell battled for a 6–3 win at first doubles, while 
Avery Borman and 
Sabrina Achki controlled the pace in a 6–2 victory at second doubles. 
Kate Hayes and 
Isabella Eason closed things out with a 6–3 triumph at third doubles, giving Oswego a clean sweep to start the match.
Momentum carried into singles play, where the Lakers captured five of six matches. 
Avery Borman and Sabrina Achi led the charge, each cruising to 6–2, 6–2 wins at the top of the lineup. 
Leah Bell added another point with a hard-fought 6–3, 6–2 win, while 
Isabella Eason downed her opponent 6–2, 6–2. 
Kate Hayes followed with a strong 6–3, 6–1 performance to secure the team victory.

Women's tennis will head to Plattsburgh NY on Friday September 26
th to take on the Cardinals in another SUNYAC showdown.
