OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego women's tennis team continued its undefeated run with an impressive 6–1 road victory over Plattsburgh on Friday afternoon at the Memorial Tennis Courts. The Lakers now sit at 6-0 on the season after another dominant all-around performance.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Oswego set the tone early in doubles play. The pairing of Avery Borman and Sabrina Achki came out strong at second doubles, blanking their opponents 6-0. While the Lakers dropped tight battles at the first and third doubles positions, they carried momentum into singles and took control of the match.

In singles, Oswego was nearly unstoppable, winning all six courts. Borman led the way at the top spot with a straight-set 6-4, 6-4 victory, while Achki followed with a commanding 6-3, 6-2 win at second singles. Leah Bell staged a gritty comeback at third singles, rallying from a set down to win 5-7, 6-2, 6-2.

The battle at fourth singles was just as thrilling, with Emily DeLuca pulling out a marathon victory, 7-6, 5-7, 10-3. Isabella Eason was steady at the fifth spot, earning a 6-3, 6-2 win, and Kate Hayes sealed the day at sixth singles, grinding out a 6-3, 2-6, 10-3 decision.
