FREDONIA, NY - The SUNY Oswego women's soccer team kept its unbeaten start intact with a 1-0 victory over Utica on Saturday afternoon at the Blue Devil Classic, improving to
3-0-1 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Junior forward
Kyla Sustad provided the difference in the 24th minute, finishing a pass from
Alison Dimitrijevski to put the Lakers in front. Sustad led the attack with four shots, including three on goal.
Oswego controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting Utica 12-3 while holding a decisive 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Brianna Winkler and
Sabrina Schmitt also tested the Pioneers' goalkeeper, who was forced to make five saves.
On the defensive end, the Lakers were steady once again.
Paytyn Crane earned the clean sheet in net, stopping the lone Utica shot on goal to secure Oswego's third shutout in four matches.
