Oswego, NY - The SUNYAC has announced their weekly awards. The Lakers very own Lauren Ricobelli was named the SUNYAC Women's Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week!

Freshman Ricobelli had a great weekend for the Lakers when they took on the Manhattan Valiants on Friday and Saturday. She left the weekend with 3 total points on 1 goal and 2 assists adding to her season totals of 3 goals and 2 assists. The Lakers earned two road wins this weekend on their way to improving their overall record to 9-6.

The Lakers will remain on the road and take on SUNY Potsdam this Friday the 23^rd starting at 3:00 PM.
