Buffalo, NY. - The SUNY Oswego Men's Basketball team traveled west to take on the 2-12 Buffalo State Bengals in a SUNYAC Conference matchup, and came out on top, by a score of 69-56.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers and Bengals started out back-and-forth, as neither team was able to break away from lead changes. Then, in the seventh minute of the first half, Oswego released a barrage of three-pointers, including ones from
Jorel Monroe, Chris Whyte-Luciano, and
Jayson McGhee.
Deacon Judd tacked on 7 points before the half, and
Whyte-Luciano finished the first half with 8, as the Lakers went into the break comfortably ahead by a score of 39-21.
Arthur Foster started the second half strong for Oswego with a three-pointer, and
Freddy Fowler, who recently returned, followed suit.
Chris Whyte-Luciano extended his total for the night to 16 points, as did
Jayson McGhee, and the Lakers walked away victorious by a score of 69-56.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Lakers will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday, January 24th, where they will head a little further west to take on the Fredonia Blue Devils at 4:00PM.
