Cortland, NY. - The SUNY Oswego Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams traveled west today to take on the Cortland Red Dragons, and came up short.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 
Men's Meet
 
The meet started off with the Men's 3x100 Medley Relay. Oswego's "A" relay took first, with the "B" relay taking third.
 
In the Men's 1000 Yard Freestyle, Jake Sarnowski finished third, with Ryan Murphy securing fifth place.
 
In the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle, Antonio Medina and Duncan Smith took second and third place respectively.
 
Ethan Calhoun took second in the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke, with Nick Celentano finishing fourth
 
Nathan Ratta Vine finished in first place in the Men's 100 Yard Breaststroke, with Manav Sindhi taking fourth.
 
In the Men's 200 Yard Butterfly, Mitchell Stevens and Jayden Hernandez took second and third place respectively.
 
Duncan Smith and Sam Waddell took first and second place in the Men's 50 Yard Freestyle.
 
In the Men's 100 Yard Freestyle, Antonio Medina, Ryan Murphy, and Sam Waddell finished in the top 3 positions, sweeping the event.
 
In the Men's 200 Yard Backstroke, Jayden Hernandez and Ethan Calhoun took third and fourth place.
 
Nathan Ratta Vine won the Men's 200 Yard Breaststroke, beating the second place finisher by nearly 3 seconds. Manav Sindhi finished third, beating his brother and Cortland Swimmer Jai Sindhi.
 
In the Men's 500 Yard Freestyle, Jake Sarnowski took third place.
 
Mitchell Stevens took second in the Men's 100 Yard Butterfly, with Antonio Medina taking fifth.
 
In the Men's 200 Yard IM, Ethan Calhoun finished second, with Manav Sindhi taking fourth.
 
The Lakers rounded out the meet taking both first and second place in the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.

 
Women's Meet:
 
The meet started off with the Women's 3x100 Medley Relay. Oswego's "A" relay took first, with the "B" relay taking fourth.
 
In the Women's 1000 Yard Freestyle, Emily Seldin finished second, with Kaitlin Wheeler securing fifth place.
 
In the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle, Izzy Dague and Bella McDonald took first and third place respectively.
 
Katie Burch took third in the Women's 100 Yard Backstroke, with Sophia Panetta and Maura Waite finishing fourth and fifth.
 
Aurora Jarvie finished in third place in the Women's 100 Yard Breaststroke, with Anna Baker and Emily Lotito taking fourth and fifth..
 
In the Women's 200 Yard Butterfly, Joscelyn took second, losing by just three hundredths of a second.
 
Jayna Laferriere took first in the Women's 50 Yard Freestyle, with Willow Gaines finishing fifth.
 
In the Women's 100 Yard Freestyle, Jayne Laferriere and Aurora Jarvie finished in the top 2 positions.
 
In the Women's 200 Yard Backstroke, Izzy Dague took second place, with Maura Waite finishing in fifth.
 
Gabby Janeski finished third in the Women's 200 Yard Breaststroke, with Kaitlin Wheeler and Willow Gaines finishing right behind her.
 
In the Women's 500 Yard Freestyle, Bella McDonald took second place, with Emily Lotito securing a fourth place finish.
 
Joscelyn Coniski took first in the Women's 100 Yard Butterfly, with Abby Hinman finishing in fifth.
 
Maddy Van Beamer and Amber Burke finished in fourth and fifth place in Women's 1-meter Diving, with respective scores of 148.85 and 143.00
 
In the Women's 200 Yard IM, Izzy Dague finished first, with Anna Baker taking fifth.
 
The Lakers rounded out the meet taking first and fourth place in the Women's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay
