Oswego, NY – SUNY Oswego Athletics is excited to announce the hiring of Alyssa Stevenson as an Assistant Athletic trainer.

Stevenson will be responsible for overseeing the athletic training needs of the men's soccer, women's ice hockey, and baseball programs. In her role, she provides injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services to support student-athlete health and performance.

"Alyssa has quickly become a valuable addition to our sports medicine team," said Elise Fitzsimmons, SUNY Oswego Head Athletic Trainer. "Her strong educational background, professionalism, and commitment to student-athlete care have made an immediate impact across the programs she serves."

Stevenson earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of New Haven in 2023 before completing her master's degree in athletic training at SUNY Cortland in 2025.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and is a Board of Certification (BOC)–certified athletic trainer.
