How it Happened
Oswego opened the match with a strong statement at 125 pounds, as
Juan Roque set the tone with an impressive 19–4 technical fall over Leonard Cocca just 4:45 into the bout. The Lakers continued to show grit in the middle weights, highlighted by
Michael Santore's decisive 10–3 decision at 141 and
Donovan Rail's 10–5 win at 149, giving Oswego three individual victories on the day.
Lycoming responded with depth across the lineup, earning bonus points in several bouts, including falls at 133 and 184, along with technical falls at 165 and 197 to widen the team margin. Despite the final score, Oswego showed fight throughout the dual, particularly in tightly contested matches at 141 and 149.
