Cleveland, OH –The Lakers took on #14 Case Western once again Saturday morning for the series finale in Cleveland, Ohio.

How it Happened
Case Western Reserve set the tone early, plating three runs in the bottom of the first inning to put the Lakers on their heels. Oswego's pitching staff fought to keep the game within reach, but the Spartans added insurance runs in the fifth, sixth, and seventh innings to pull away. Defensively, the Lakers were hindered by three errors, which allowed Case Western to capitalize on extra opportunities and extend innings throughout the afternoon.
Despite the deficit, the Lakers' offense showed signs of life late in the game. In the top of the sixth, Oswego finally broke through, plating two runs to cut into the lead. They added another run in the eighth when
Jaxson Mayo scored. Ultimately the Lakers could not claw back into this one and fell 10-3.

th, the Lakers will head to Immaculata University for a 10:00 AM start.
