How It Happened
The Lakers wasted no time asserting control, delivering a wire-to-wire dominant performance from the opening draw. Aubri Greene set the tone early, securing the first draw control and cashing in for the game's opening goal. Cassidy Croce followed with back-to-back strikes, igniting a first-quarter surge that never slowed. Alexis Hill added a goal of her own, while Noelle Smith found the back of the net to keep the pressure on. Hill struck again and Kylie Fritton capped the quarter with another tally, giving the Lakers a commanding 7-0 lead after one.

Oswego's dominance extended beyond the scoreboard. Controlling the ground ball battle, the Lakers turned hustle into offense as Addison Costello and Gianna Zerillo each buried goals midway through the second. Croce, Greene, and Hill continued the onslaught with three more scores, sending the Lakers into halftime firmly in control at 12-0.

The defensive unit was just as relentless after the break, forcing turnover after turnover and keeping the Wildcats pinned in their own end. Madison Wood opened the second-half scoring with a free-position finish, and Jaelynn Aldrich converted on her own free-position opportunity moments later. Hill and Croce each added another goal before the end of the third, stretching the advantage to 16-0.

The fourth quarter brought more of the same. Ayla Snyder and Milena Vassallo opened the frame with back-to-back goals, while Greene's continued dominance on the draw circle created extra possessions — one of which led to a score from Riley Rosenzweig. In goal, Sophia Diaz came up with several key saves to preserve the shutout and extinguish any hope of a Wildcats rally. Wood added her second tally late, sealing a decisive 21-0 victory.
